Taxation Planning

Taxation Planning, as the name suggests, is about understanding the taxation consequences of your financial planning (or lack thereof) decisions and about trying to ensure that your financial planning is done in a tax-effective way where possible.
Through our Australian Financial Services Licensee we are classified as being able to provide a “tax (financial advice) service” for a fee. This is a tax agent service (excluding representations to the Commissioner of Taxation) provided by a financial services licensee or a representative of one, in the course of giving financial planning advice. This advice relates to ascertaining or advising about liabilities, obligations or entitlements that arise or could arise under taxation law.
Taxation considerations are likely to be only one of many important considerations in financial planning advice and may in fact be secondary to others that are more important. We do not replace your accountant or tax agent who does your tax returns and represents you to the Commissioner of Taxation but we do work closely with these other professionals and we do ensure that taxation is one of the considerations when advising you about your financial planning.
